How It Works
Using current BCI technology, brain waves animate videos, images, and digital objects in 3-D environments. Additionally brain waves control the volume and filtering of audio tracks designed in music applications that support the Digital Audio Unit. To produce brain wave music, neural signaling is converted to MIDI notes which are assigned to software switches that toggle between On and Off. Each switch is assigned to a digital instrument that toggles to On when specific frequency values are converted to MIDI notes are triggered by the brain.
Prototypes of brain wave games for well-being are designed to increase low frequency brain waves and coherence between the left and right hemispheres of the brain. In order to reach game goals, a gamer must lower the frequencies and amplitudes of the predominant neural signaling and balance the coherence between the left and right hemispheres of the brain.
